Organizations
Serving Our Community

Monument Hill Kiwanis Club (formerly Monument Hill Sertoma) has been supporting the Tri-Lakes community for over 35 years. The Club hosts the annual 4th of July Parade in Monument, which draws about 15,000 spectators. Each year the Club raises and contributes about $125,000 to worthy organizations such as Tri-Lakes Cares, Salvation Army, Griffith Centers for Children, and Rocky Mountain Youth Leadership Foundation. Since joining the Kiwanis family, the Club has worked closely with the local school district in expanding its youth programs, including high school Key Clubs, middle school Builders Club, and grade school K-Kids. The Club meets at The Inn @ Palmer Divide each Saturday morning at 8 AM.

Griffith Centers for Children provides help and hope to abused and neglected children and teens in Colorado, plus we also assist families in making their homes safe and healthy environments for their children. Griffith's programs and services are available year round, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Tri-Lakes Health Advocacy Partnership (HAP) is a non-profit community organization dedicated to identifying community health issues and creating the necessary support resources. HAP hosts annual community health fairs and education forums as well as providing community outreach programs for area hospitals. In direct response to community surveys, HAP also offers programs for seniors including transportation services and a foot care clinic, respite care, a support group for Macular Degeneration as well as family support programs. For more information, call 719-481-4864.

The YMCA Family Center is a 12-acre site that offers a family the complet package with a community room, gymnasium, wellness center, exercise facilities, a swimming pool with lap lanes and racquetball courts along with programs and day camps for youth and families.

Tri Lakes Cares provides community support with programs that provide emergency food assistance, medical services, child-care, senior programs, job training and more. Filling in the financial gap for those in need for over 20 years, Tri-Lakes Cares offers unique in-kind and financial assistant programs that include GED classes, a jobs network, holiday baskets and budget counseling. For more information, call 719-481-4864 or email trilakescares@questoffice.net.
